Many homes in Natick were built before today's electrical demands. When adding EV charging, a heat pump, new appliances, or renovated living space, the existing panel and service may need to be evaluated for available capacity. That evaluation is free, and sometimes the answer is that no upgrade is needed.
Remodeling can bring grounding and GFCI protection into scope as well, particularly in kitchens and bathrooms. Where an older home has two prong receptacles, there are a few correct ways to handle it, and which one fits depends on what is actually in the wall. We look before we quote.
Natick also has a significant amount of condo housing. For work in a unit, it is worth confirming early what falls to the unit owner and where association coordination may be required for building or common electrical systems, so the scope is clear before anything is scheduled.
Any Size Job
Plenty of our calls are one outlet, one switch, or one circuit that stopped working. That is real work and we are glad to do it.
Permits & Inspections
Electrical work that requires a permit has to go through the Town of Natick permitting and inspection process. Bright Bee pulls the required electrical permit, schedules the inspection, and sees it through with the wiring inspector.
Not every job needs a permit. We will tell you honestly which side of that line your project falls on rather than adding a permit that is not required.

There are a few, and the right one depends on what is behind the wall. If a ground path is present, the receptacle can be replaced with a grounded one. If not, GFCI protection is an accepted approach and the outlet is labeled accordingly. Running a new grounded circuit is the more thorough fix. We open one up and look before recommending anything.
